On the N86, you first need to enable the voice command functionality. This when I last tried to do isn't as simple as pressing and holding SoftKey2! At least for the first time you use it.
Like others have said, this for me and others doesn't work very well and I didn't find it worth my time even using it. But anyway! To enable this, you need to be at the standby screen. Next Mute Talks! Yes I said Mute Talks! You need to do this in order to get the needed prompts to enable the voice command functionality on the N86. Now press and hold SoftKey2 for About 2 seconds. Release it. Now do an Talks followed by SoftKey1 to read the soft key assignment. Press the correct key to enable the voice command function. After this is done, you can use the Voice command function by pressing and Holding SoftKey2. Like I said, if you have Talks unmuted initially! You will not be given the option to enable the voice command functionality. This only need to be done once to enable the function. Granted I could be wrong! Being it has been a long time from the time I initially enabled this on my N86 and I may have missed a step or so. Signed: Stephen Giggar Skype: dr-phone. Myself and many others have played around with it and could never really get it to work. Most people that I know with a Nokia phone don't bother with it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "leonard morris" <lmorris1...@gmail.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2014 10:42 AM Subject: [Talks] n86 and voice coms > While playing around to fix my backup issue on my n86 which thanks to > this list I did I ran across a feature called voice coms which I > assume it means communicating a command with your voice.
