Yeah! Try getting an desktop charger with a spair battery charging slot for the N86. That away you can just take the battery out of the N86 and charge it. This is what I do with my N95 phones. I have a few extra batteries that I keep charged and when I need a new battery, I pull the dead one out of the phone and put it on the charger and put in a fresh charged one that came out of the charger.

don't know if anything can be done.N86 charged fine yesterday ,now it will
not charge, change battery, change charging cord. try to charge it on my
computer,  no luck. main concern is to be able to transfer  contacts off
phone if charging port is bad.
any ideas?
