Actually if the e6 still has anna, you don't have to do that. simply go into
contacts. pick the one you want. hit the center select key. it brings up the
dialling tab. it'll say tab one of two and mention the number of numbers
available which includes messaging functions as well. arrow to the right to
the second tab. this is the editing tab. arrow up or down to the field you
want to edit and hit the center select key and erase or type what ever you
want then use the done button or soft key 2 on the right bottom of the touch
screen. that's it.

Hi Matthew, well only a matter of ktime now before the demise of Talks, it
has been great and I am sorry I was forced away from it. Now to your
question, Highlight the contact, double tap on it and then you have to
locate soft key 3 on the bottom of your screen and tap it. This is the edid
key. If your Talks is working correctly and you listen you should hear
Talks say the function of all the soft keys. Once in the edid area you can
arrow down or up through the different fields to edit.

there's no choice for editing.
