On older Nokia phones, you can't do that, as far as I know. Glad they changed it on newer phones.--Matt.

not the operating system from what i remember. it seems to me you have to
plug it in and use nokia pc suite then a balloon pops up that you have to
click on. if you can't see the balloon it's tough. Evelyn can give you more
info about that though since she did upgrade to belle. i wait and discuss it
with her first before you do anything and get her observations. i'm sure
she'll respond when she sees your messages.

Hi, Denise. Thanks for all the info. How easy iis it to upgrade
software on the E6? Notice that PC Suite/Nokia Software Upgrade
don't play nice with speech. Can you upgrade directly from the
WLAN? Thanks.--Matt.

yes you can use the center key as the select key until you get talks loaded
and can practice using the soft keys. I can't anser whether belle makes the
phone work better. All i can say is i had another belle phone and couldn't
use it as well because simply isn't as accessible with talks without some
sight. Evelyn on the list can respond better to that she has an e6 as well.
I have an iPhone and like it a lot for some things, but for my work phone
where i must make lots of calls in a relatively short amount of time and go
through lots of contacts quickly i stick with my nokia phones. i seem to
switch between my e73 and e6. mostly because i like to switch around every
now and then, but the two phones act a bit differently when it comes to
contacts.

Hi, Denise. Thanks for getting back to me regarding the E6. Read
some reviews, and decided to go ahead and buy it. When I first
install Talks, do I hjust it Select or arrow with the four-way like
on other Nokia phones?

Given how phones don't last forever, may consider getting a spare for
the future. I like using physical keys/buttons. Makes me feel sort
of old-fashioned, though <grin>.

May be asking you more questions once I get the phone. Also, does
belle make the phone perform any better? If not, will stick with
Anna. Thanks again.--Matt.

for enter or yes?
