Thanks, yes, I had forgotten that one but I don't think you can use the power button to unlock the phone.

I only read the question because I knew you would be asking about e6. This will take you some practice without vision but is doable. Lock the screen first or wait a while until it is locked. Now press the select key which is inside the arrow keys. Now hold it for about 2 seconds and then directly above the up arrow touch the screen and then tap it and this should work for you. Is there another way to unlock the keypad other than using the slider on the side? Nokia normally use menu+*, not sure if this would work as well? It is so easy to use now with the help that everyone has provided, thanks very much indeed! After having selected a new home screen I go to options and I have a choice for new widget or for shortcut. I choose shortcut and then I get the list.
