Scott all I can do is tell you how to install Talks from the start though it sounds like you've done an installation before. The first thing is to ensure that you have the correct time and date set. If yhou cannot do this yourself then get a sighted person to do it. I would recommend that if Talks has gone on and is not working properly that you remove it at this stage. You then need to ensure that your phone wil accept Talks so in order to do this you need to ensure that the software installation is set to All rather than to signed. This setting is in settings but as I do not know the phone I cannot direct you to the exact place on the phone. Come back again though if you cannot find it and I am sure I can work it out. Then what I do is put Talks on the memory card and only Talks and I get someone to set me a hot key to it. I can then install it. Once Talks is installed you will then need to ensure that you install Eloquence or whatever voice you have chosen at the time of purchase. Once both installation have been carried out you can turn off the phone and on again and Talks should come up talking, forgive the pun. It then depends on if yhour copy of Talks has been registered or not. You may have a demo in which case this will be a 10 minute demo mode. While you say below that you have put on Talks and there is no speech it could be that you have not put on Eloquence though the Nokia TTS would be speaking. Finally it may be that within the Talks Application under Speech, that no synthasisor has been selected and hence it is mute. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Meyer" <scottt.me...@verizon.net>

Subject: [Talks] need help installing Talks on Nokia N86

Hi;
Copied talks 5/31 onto the n86 install folder on the phone drive. is that where it should go? When I select talk3.41 file it ask me if I want to install the application on the phone and I say yes, then It tells me to finish the installation on the phone. that where I am lost since their is no more voice prompts. After I get talks up and running how and where do I move my contacts to? I have a file on my desktop that I copy from my old phone.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Scott
