More then likely the directory I gave is the wrong directory for the memory card and that is why App. Manager doesn't see the instal files. I was guessing on the directory. But anyway you did find the file with Y-Browser.

First, in the N86 app manager clicking on installation files is empty so I think the app manager is not seeing my memory card. However, using YBrowser I have been able to see the app in the download folder but pressing soft key 1 during the installation keeps bringing up the message,"unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier", and I am bounced back to the YBrowser. I thought this problem was happening because I tried to install a different version of PowerMp3 not the current one I have on the phone from Mobi Factor even though it said it was for the N86 in the list of phones. So, I went back and downloaded the current version of PowerMp3 from Mobi Factor which is is what I have on the N86 but as I said the message still comes up.

All you should need to do is press soft key 1 to continue, unless somehow your app manager settings have been changed from "all" to something else. ----- Original Message ----- From: "leonard morris" <lmorris1...@gmail.com>

When attempting to install the app I get a message stating, "unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier. I never seen that kind of message before! (smile)

If you place it on the memorycard! Place it in a directory called DOWNLOAD I think it is. That away when you go in to the App. Manager and select the first option that I think is called Download Application or something like that! It is the first thing you land on when you open the App. Manager. Then press down arrow to find the program you want and select it.

I downloaded the most recent version of PowerMp3. When I click on the
file nothing happens. I looked in Nokia PC suite to be certain my N86
was properly connected via USB. Of course I chose Nokia Pc suite on the phone when I plugged in the USB cable. When I updated talks a few months ago I didn't have any problems. So, I'm wondering if I can copy the sis
file to the phone and install it from there. If I can do this where
should I place the sis file?
