That's true. none of the e phones have stereo speakers. and they are quieter. This can be a little more frustrating. If you want the stereo speakers or louder speaker you definitely need to go with an N series phone which is going to be an older nokia phone and very few with a qwerty key pad and those will be a side slider like the n97 and n97 minni.

One other thing to point out! Jim you said you wanted a phone with Stereo speakers. The E6 doesn't have them. Just something to be aware of.

I tried a E6 and didn't like the external speaker. I found it to be very quiet compared with other phones. As a example Talks on volume 10 on the E6 was like Talks at volume 5 on the N95 dash 3 and like Talks at volume 6 on the N86. If it wasn't for the quiet speaker I may have thought about keeping it. I wanted a phone which I could hear when out and about.

yes it works very well with anna. I have not updated my e6 to bell because you can't edit the home screens very well. Some people have and they seem to be ok, but I like to change my home screens around and with talks and the anna operating system it works great. Email and the wed work well with the e6 and the anna operating system. The e6 comes with anna so you could read the release notes and ask some folks on the list about their experience upgrading it to the bell operating system and decide for yourself what you want to do. My impression is that if you have a little useable vision upgrading to bell works fine. If, like me, you don't then I think leaving it with anna works better. Others may disagree on that.

Jim
I have a n97 minni that i sometimes still use with talks. Thalks does
work quite well with the n97 minni for the most part, but it is a 5th
addition phone and thord parties apps don't always work as well with
it and the number row on the qwerty key board oesn't always speak the
right characters. It has very good sound on the stereo speakers and
it's loud which some nokia phones aren't It does have a touch screen
also. I haven't used it for a while so I can't remember all of the
details. I like the phone the main reason i don't use it now is
because I prefer the qwerty key board phones with the kqwerty key
board on the front of the phone under the screen rather than the key
board that slides out from the side. Phones like the e73 e72, the e6
which is probably my favorite nokia phone because it has the qwerty
on the front of the phone but also has a touch screen.
