Stephen the Talks commands are the same. Talks followed by call will give you the tine. Talks followed by soft key2 will give you the network, battery status information. Talks followed by select will read the screen. Talks followed by soft key. Will read the soft keys on the screen.
You can install Talks today if you want, you do not need to wait until christmas. You can go to the Talknav web site and get a 30 day trial code or you can call your normal Talks dealer to get one. Then you can use Talks for 30 days before you buy a license for Talks. This will give you tine to see the following, if the phone is working correctly, if you even like the phone, etc...
