Try looking for a folder on the memory card/phone called sounds or something
similar to that. As already has been suggested you can create your own
folder for ring tones but if you put them in the default sounds folder they
will probably be found easier by the phone.

Subject: [Talks] Ringtones and E73 Mode
Hi,
I would like to create custom ringtones from songs for a few contacts.
I have Gold wave and have cut parts of the songs I’d like to use as
ringtones. I’ve saved them as MP3’s. I have looked at the ringtone file
extentions on my phone and it seems that the phone should be able to play
them. Not all of my rings are MP3 file types, but a few are. I don’t know
where to put the ringtones on the phone itself so that my phone will
recognize them and I can select them to play. I’ve synced my phone to my
computer and have looked all over the memory card with no success. Any
help with this would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been trying to figure
this out for a while now and am still mystified.
Thanks,
Dawnielle
