How about making sure the slider door is shut over the camera
lens? Never had this problem.--Matthew Chao

To me it sounds more like you are actually pressing the camera key
on the side of the phone. Of all the phones I have had I have never
seen one that activates the camera when you set it down, except by
pressing the camera button. If you are grabbing the phone in the
same way every time try altering your fingers slightly and see if
this stops the problem. There is no way to physically disable the
rear camera. I could be wrong about this but you may be able to
disable the front one.

Subject: [Talks] N86 and disabling the back camera
Heya folks,
Am getting a constant annoyance lately when putting my phone down on a desk
or sometimes just touching the back camera slider with talks saying image
mode and I need to exit back to main screen, is there a way I can disable
the back camera on my n86? Any help will be appreciated.
As the back camera slider is so sensitive that any touch activates this
image mode
Cheers,
Jim
