Hi. I used the N8 for a short while with Talks. I have no sight at all and although I found the phone usable I found things like Texting quite slow.
Just as an aside, my wife, who is fully sighted uses an N8 and finds it a bit tricky from time to time. Personally, I prefer the E6. I do however have the notes Alan made regarding using the N8 so if you want to email me off site I'm happy to send them to you if that helps.
