That is correct! The person must open the file by pressing select on the message. Then they will see the contact information. At that point, they need to press Options and then select save to contacts or just save. Note! If you are sending this to a non Nokia phone! That phone may not know what to do with the VCF file and may not open it.

It goes as an attachment or object I think. The person should go to Options and down to Object and open it. They should also be able to save it to their contacts.

When I try to send a message as a business card on my N86 and I choose
all contact details the body of the message shows only the name of the
contact and a .vcf extension. The recipient never sees the telephone
number information that is in the contact data. What is the problem here?
