Hi I have E6 and it is a great phone. The qwerty keyboard is excellent but there are some touch screen commands that you will have to get used to, soft key one and soft key two being activated g >From the touch screen. Have you used the N97 or N97 before? These have touch >screens. There are 2 operating systems for E6. The older Anna and the new >Belle. If you start with Anna and upgrade to Belle then there is a slight >learning curve. However, I would recommend you start with Belle. Perhaps other >E6 users can add to all I have said so far. You might find it useful to read >the release notes for the latest Talks released back at end of February. .
-original message- Subject: [Talks] nokia E6 and talks From: "Jan Kleinhans" <jhkleinh...@telkomsa.net> Date: 26/04/2012 4:16 am Hi Sorry for those who might have seen this mail on another list. I am back on this list, after a long time again and hoping that users of this phone with talks might be able to help or make suggestions where there might be problems. I am staying here in South Africa, and the E6 is available for us on some networks with talks installed on it. I do know that some people are using this phone, but I am wondering about the phone being a qwerty and a touch screen phone. Does the talks commands for touch screen work on this phone as well as the normal commands for using the qwerty keyboard and other standard keys? Are there any difficulties using the normal functions with talks, like accessing the menu system and using contacts and messaging services on the phone? Any help would be appreciated as I am feeling unsure seeing the phone has both the touch screen and the normal qwerty keys. Nokia will still serve me well for the next 2 years or so, so I was not considdering changing platforms yet. Should one rather avoid this phone for some reason? Thanks a lot.
