I tested this on my n95 all combo boxes work as expected. I also changed the
subject to try and get more responses. I still think this only effects certain
phones.

Ok, I am using E6 and these are my findings on the web u provided for us to
test.

1. I select booking and at the depart from combo, I tried Right & Left and
then select, it will not open. Then I will try Right & Right and Select and
it will open for you to select the country. So, seems like right & left
select, then right & right select.

2. Once you have managed to open 1 combo box, the rest, no need to use left
or right, just pressing select will open the combo.

3. And for this, not sure if it's bug or what to call. E6, we must tab at
softkey-2 to get menu and every time I touch that spot, the dam combo box
appear again asking me to select country to depart. Even if I move it away
from this combo box, just to a place with text only, still the combo box to
select country appear. Only way out is to simply just select a country and
then the actual menu which should come will appear for selection. On this
mentioned page, it will just activate not only the country selection, even
the class selection combo will also appear when you tab on soft-key-2 screen
area. Same, have to cancel and then only the menu will appear.

4. In web browsing, when pressed Call-key to find for text, the calling
edit box will appear for us to make a phone call. We then have to cancel it
which only the Find edit box will appear. Is this only in E6 or other
models? Can someone using E5 test that pls.

Regards,
KITT.

site http://mobile1.emirates.com/?lang=en_US
Now with the new Talks I cannot. So now I am going backwards :( aall
because I cannot access combo boxes with new Talks :(

hi!
i'm using a nokia e5 with updated firmware to 081.004 and talks 5.30,
apparently i managed to access the combo boxes, when you're navigating
links, headings, etc in the browser and you find one box, if you press
select it won't work, however if you move right and left 2 times and
press select it will open the box and allow you to select what you want.
i don't know if it will work with other phones and i'm not 100% sure if
these are the exact steps, but you can try experimenting and see the
results.
please post here if it works.
thanks!!

Hey Eleanor!
Have you tried to make a selection from a combo box? well with the new
Talks you can't. It makes access to so much info impossible. I just can't do
anything!

Denise,

If we forgo this new version, our email and web won't work. Actually, it's
not the problem of TW or FB but more of the type of edit box which they use
to write those pages. So, simplest is to find the type and solve that issue.

What everyone is forgetting is it isn't always easy to track down bugs and
it wouldn't be effective to put out a update just for facebook and twitter.
If you don't like the new version then downgrade to the one before it and
wait for the new version. I'm sure the dealers have passed on the feedback.
Are you all forgetting that without talks we wouldn't have had accessibility
for all these years lets be patient. If an update is rushed out then you
would be complaining if it broke something that worked. Talks has always
been about stability so relax people there are alternatives.
