I would suggest leaving it as status and using Talks long SoftKey2 to read
it. By changing it to something else, could break other screens. But it is
up to you if you want to explore and try things. Just make note of what you
changed and what screen it is on so that you can change it back if you are
not happy with how it turns out. This is what I do.

You can read it via the status with Talks, long key2, or redefine that
roll to focus. Whatever you want to do.

Subject: [Talks] Nokia Maps no longer reading street names after updating
toNuance Talks v5.30
Hi all,
I am using Talks version 5.30 on my Nokia E72 which runs Nokia Maps 3.04.
After updating to Talks 5.30, the street names or my current position on
the
"my position" screen is no longer shown when a route is not plotted.
If I have the navigation engaged, I can do a talks key + up arrow and read
the current line. This will give me my current street / position.
The strange thing is that when I go into the Talks object viewer, I can
see
the position information and it is mapped to a role of "status".
How do I read this without going to the object viewer?
Pranav
