explain what you are referring to by e-mail alerts?

its possible that one account is set up as POP3 and the other as IMAP, so only
the IMAP one would trigger e-mail notification messages.

there may also be a setting in the e-mail account settings to notify you of new
mail, say something like a, check for new mail every x minutes etc.

this would need to be universally applied across all your e-mail accounts.

Hi All
I am using E5 with Talks. Now strange thing is I have 2 e-mail accounts on it,
both at btinternet.com and yet for only one I get e-mail alerts. Would anyone
know why this is? I think it would take someone with a good knowledge of E5 to
answer this really. Maybe Nokia would know and guess I had better give them a
call.
