You should be able to do this. The phone may not be recognizing the tone
because it is to long or to large. This usually happens when you have a
branded phone.

Does anyone know if it is possible to set an individual ring tone against
a contact on the Nokia N73 e.g. I would like to play a specific .MP3 file
when I receive a call from home. I tried all the options on the contact
but there didn't seem to be an option to select a ring tone for that
contact. Does this just come with the newer phone software?
