Listers, don't worry about me using bluetooth in this procedures. I keep bluetooth off and use wired head phones. But it's important to worry about radio transmition close to the brain. I'll consider the possibility of using some thin led surface between the phone and my head. Led can block some radio waves and it would be nice to know how thick it should be to block efficiently. Maybe a thin led can block enough, so it will not be so heavy that can disturb.

Yes as the mobile phone bands are very close to the microwave frequency as used in ovens. putting your phone near your head especially for long periods of time is not a good idea. Keep in mind the damage is cumulative. Brain specialists are now seeing many cases of a specific type of brain cancer caused by prolonged mobile phone use and it's early days yet.

I'd be worried about the health implications of this suggestion -

Hi Listers,
I'm using e72 with talks and I'd like to share an interesting and important discovery I've made. Maybe it's obvious for some users but maybe others don't know about it. When I started using my e72 with loadstone and nokia maps I used to keep the phone in a pocket and listen to talks via head phones. It often took 5 or 10 minutes to connect to the satelites. This week I tested a new method: I put the phone over my head, under a hat. This way the satelite connects almost immediatelly, it often takes about 5 or 10 seconds. This way the gps keeps connected inside the buses, specially if I stay close to the windows.
I hope it's useful for someone.
Regards, Paulo
