Well if you have done it on one screen you certainly have that screen and
a
blank one, but it is possible that you have 2 blank screens. I have news
feeds on my screen and favourites and other things on other screens. I
think you will find that your 'out of the box' e6 has 3 standby screens in
situ.

I havent' set up any active screens so don't quite understand this.
I assume an "Active Screen" means where I have set up icons ETC.
I've only done this on 1 screen.
Or, am I on the wrong tack altogether.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with Profiles or General Profile. This
number is there on your screen all of the time and relates to the number
of
Active Screens you have. Sounds to me like you have three! Hope this

I have what might seem a strange E6 question here.
Now, I am in the profile called "General". When the phone is unlocked,
in between "Options" key 1, and "Menu" key 2, there is an icon that
says "2 of 3" and when I tap it it then says "1 of 3". When I tap it
again
it goes back to "2 of 3". So, can anyone tell me what this is please?
