I accidently turned on the silent profile. I must have held down the pound key to long or something but it is working ok now. I had forgot about getting imei within talks. However, my other issue is transfering contacts from the E66 to the N86. I have not done it in a while and forgot the process.

hi,

I am trying to get the serial number (*#0000#) so I can buy a talks license for my N86. However, When I input the code I keep
getting device manager information.

The correct method is *#06# instead of *#0000#. If you have talks installed, you can obtain the phone serial number by going to talks settings and register submenu on the manual registration. this way, you can read the serial number digit by digit by setting
the cursor mode to characters.

Secondly, but not as important, I do not hear the nokia startup sound when I turn off the phone and then turn it bacck on anymore. It worked for a couple of days but now I get only talks speakinf at the home screen when I turn on the phone.

not sure you are in which profile, but regardless to any profile you are set active currently, go to the current active profile personalization and turn on the warning tones and it will give you the nokia startup sound.

HTH.
