The loud speaker is just slightly above where you touch for soft key
2 on the screen. You have to hold the phone a little away from your
face before you touch though otherwise, a least for me, it doesn't
activate I suppose because of the proximity sensor that helps keep
the screen from changing while you're on a call.
I haven't found a "gallery" persay. It's split up into it's various
pieces. There's photos, music, and videos/tv.
