Elanor, the branded models of Nokia phones that are provided through cell
providers have pretty much always had different firmware than the unbranded
models so you may not always have the same latest firmware as everyone else.
You also have to remember that the firmwares are done by region i.e. United
States, United Kingdom, etc. so there will more than likely be a difference
in firmwares because of that also. Now considering Allen is in Southeast
Asia and your in the UK there is more than likely going to be a difference.

What is more worrying Maurice is Allan's comments when I said that
Vodafone are waiting for the next big Nokia update for E6 which is Bella
as Talks does not support Bella. Now in the UK we have missed out on this
small Nokia update in firmware for E6 and are therefore not getting the
same out of our phones as some on the list. I am very disappointed as I
can see we are going to be pushed towards the iPhone unless we want to use
'old' phones.

I have spoken to Vodafone this afternoon who inform me that indeed there

a firmware update for the Nokia E6 in August but it was a small firmware
update and not released in the UK. No wonder Maurice and myself cannot
obtain it! In any case the gentleman went on to say to me that when the
next firmware release comes (and he could not give a date for it), it
will
be called Bella!!! Now what of this for Talks? We are hoping that Talks
will work eventually in e-mail with Anna but will Bella be another
totally
different story!?
