No, it is good to have the disable and enable Talks. If I remove Talks from my phone and put it back on again, I just have to enable Talks rather than purchase a new copyy. Also good if a sighted person wants no Talks on the phone.

If I can talk to Nuance, I'd say to them that please remove disable option on the main Talk interface. As I used it for several year, I didn't aware that I needn't have to disable it before installation.

Thanks for all shading me the light on the topic

Yours, Eakachai

No there is no shortcut to start Talks if you disable it. The reason why is
you need Talks running in order to get to the Talks settings. So if Talks
isn't running, there is no shortcut. What I suggest it taht you move Talks
to the Main Menu and then either place it at the top or bottom of the list
if you are using list view. If you are using grid view, then place it as the
5th item so the cursor lands on it when you go into the menu.

No! Please do not disable talks. You can install the new Talks using the old Talks! This is provided that you save the program to the same memory where your older version was installed. Please do not disable or remove the old Talks. Please be very careful as disabling it will leave you high and dry. I wonder if there is a shortcut key to enable Talks if someone inadvertently disables it - and there is no sighted assistance?
Best wishes and many blessings!

Hello

I got a question would like to ask. I remember that I had to disable talk before installing the new upgrade, while all TTS can be installed imediately wihtout having to disable talk. I wonder this understanding is still correct?

I stay alone and can’t find sight assistant easily.

Yours, Eakachai
