If you ever switch email providers in the future, you should be able to get the port to use for out going mail from them. There's a few standard ports and one of them is probably being used. Most of the time, you can just go with the default. If you don't have the instructions from your email provider, you can usually find it on line. I set my brother's up for him for example, just by Googling his email provider and coming up with the settings to use.
