hi alex.
ok to read the help topics:
with the phone open all you need to do is press the options/talks key and then hit the down arrow and it will read the screen.
hth.

Subject: [Talks] reading help topics on nokia e7

Hi list.
I got my e7 today, and am slowly getting used to it, I think I will be able to live with the touch screen, even though it isn't as friendly as a conventional menu, I guess I can see some advantages to it. However, I am having a problem reading help topics on the device, and wondered if any e7 users had any thoughts. for example, I want to add several items to my home screen from the wigit catalog, and also remove a few.
However for some reason this doesn't seem to be working.
so I opened up the help, and tried to read the help topic about the home screen. but I couldn't read it with talks, all talks reads me is the topic title about the home screen.
does anyone know why this is? and how I can access the help topics?
in case it is relevant I am running the latest talks, v 5.21 released early in august, and I am also using the eloquence US english with the extrapronunciation dictionary.
I found the option to edit the home screen but seem to be a bit stuck.
if anyone knows how I can add and remove items from the home screen I would really appreciate some help, and also how I read the help topics.
many thanks,
Alex.
