Hi Eleanor and all. Firstly sorry Eleanor for not responding sooner. I also have 2 problems with the E7. 1. Symbols, When I press the symbols key whilst in a text speech packs up and I have to re-boot the phone. I have mentioned this before so know it's an ongoing issue. Also of course, is my issue regarding dialing say bank numbers and extentions using the Qwerty keyboard. I find that the keyboard won't react to this. I know there are short cut ways of getting around this but, personally I think it's a bit of a pain setting it all up. I also find that the Answer and end keys don't work well on the E7 so use the On/off and Talks button instead. Finally there's the issue of the Camera button on the side of the phone which seems to be disabled when Talks is loaded.
Just for interest, I wonder when the next update of Talks will take place. From an individual perspective, I don't think the loud speaker on the E7 is that good and as I've said before, when I'm holding the phone - say sending a text with the Qwerty keyboard slid out, my hand seems to cover part if not all of the speaker and in a public place I have to turn the volume up considerably. Thanks. Maurice Press. -----Original Message----- From: talks-boun...@talksusers.com [mailto:talks-boun...@talksusers.com] On Behalf Of Eleanor Burke Sent: 01 August 2011 22:38 To: Talks Mailing List Subject: Re: [Talks] Talks on the Nokia E7 Interesting Neil. I thought E7 came out before E6. Is the E7 an upgrade on the E6 then? Can we hope for Talks to work fully on E7 on its next release. I have a problem with Talks on E7 and have not had any response to my question on list. I would like to be able to read down through my list of e-mails in the Inbox but Talks does not seem to speak these. Is there anything I can do to get Talks reading the list please? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Neil Barnfather - TalkNav" <for...@talknav.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Monday, August 01, 2011 10:21 PM Subject: Re: [Talks] Talks on the Nokia E7 > I'd go for the E6, that is the upgrade to the E5, any issue with it will > be resolved shortly in the next Talks release. > On 1 Aug 2011, at 21:03, The Smiths wrote: > > Hi > > I have recently purchased the Nokia E7 and installed the demo Talks > Premium > on it until my licence is transferred from my old Nokia E90.
