The problem here in the US is this, most stores are cell provider stores. My
apologies. I take your point about Talks not being on a phone but when I was
interested in the E71 I knew once I felt the buttons that I could cope with it.
These stores do not usually carry many, if any, of the phones that we are
more than likely to buy. This makes these of course locked and branded. As
for places that have unlocked/unbranded phones in the US they are few and
far between. We had 2 Nokia stores, one in Chicago and one in New York, up
until around a couple years ago. So basically it is difficult here in the
States to go to a store and actually put your hands on a phone. Of course
one other problem is that the phone would not have the screen reader on it
either.

You would do well to go in a Store and get a feel of the different phones.
I have numeric and qwerty and send e-mail and text. Very fast on the qwerty
but still faster on the numeric with predictive text. Do not like using
predictive on the qwerty for some reason. e71, e72 and e5 buttons are quite
small on qwerty keypad. e7 buttons are much larger.
