There isn't sighted help needed either way. No on installing Talks and
pointing it to a different memory spot. He can try it, however some
version had issues with doing that. I do not know if the 5.x release has
that issue or not.

Stephen, can Paulo just install Talks over the top of the one he has, but
choose memory card when installing? That way, there would be no sighted
assistance needed. Would need to change to the Nokia voice first though, I
guess, before doing the Eloquence part anyway. Would this work?

No it is up to the person if they want Talks on phone memory or not. There
is nothing stating Talks has to be on Phone memory. It will run OK from
the
memory card.
By default the Maps go to the memory card! They can't be put in phone
memory. Only the Software goes in phone memory for Nokia Maps.
The N81 has so little internal phone memory and that is why he is needing
to
free up some so he can install Nokia Maps. After that, he may be able to
install other things back in phone memory. But he needs to get some memory
card in order to install Nokia maps.

You explained perfectly. It is always recommended to have Talks on the
phone memory. Maybe you have other data you can take off. Maybe the maps
can go on the mass memory.

Because I need to get some more space free on the phone's memory. I need
to
install a larger version of nokia maps and it must be done in the phone's
memory. Did I explain clearly or in a confused english? I'm a portuguese
speaker.

Yes you can remove yourself. Why do you want to transfer to memory card?

Hi friends, I need to uninstall talks from the telephone memory and than
reinstall it on the memory card of my n81. Will I need a sighted person
to
help remove talks and eloquence? Is it possible to remove talks talks
core, talks signed and eloq tts by myself without a sighted person?
Thanks again for all the advice you have offered,
Paulo
