Thank you Hans. You will have read Stephen Gigger's response to me which is excellent and should help you too to get the name of the person announced on your N86 by going in to Profiles and making the necessary adjustment in line with the profile you have selected.

Hi Eleanor.

My Nokia X6 16 gb with Talks 5.20.3 installed, is telling me with a quiet voice, the name of the person who is calling, just before the ringtone begin's to play.

I have also a Nokia N86 with the same version of Talks installed, but i do not hear the same message here.

I am not aware of, if it is possible to configure Talks so, that the phone don't start to play the ringtone before about five second's after that the call is recognized, so there is time for Talks to say the name without beeing muted by the ringtone.

Probably there is such a setting somewhere.

Hans Pauli.

Hi I am not sure if it is a Talks setting or a Nokia TTS. There is no
speech when someone calls but a sighted person can see the name of the
person come up. Any ideas please?

Eleanor
