Thanks Maurice,

Why when you're happy with one phone, it goes and breaks and you have to
spend a lot of money to get something that has issues you didn't have on
your last phone???

As my grandfather said "modern things are not necessarily an improvement"!

Very helpful info.

When is the next release due out?

David

Hi David again.

Having re-read my email, I didn't think it was that helpful so, thought I
would give you a couple of observations - both good and bad I have
discovered whilst using my new E7.

The phone is nice and tactile to hold either when one is on the phone or
using the Qwerty keyboard.
The touch Screen works well with Talks and the response is pretty fast.
The up and down Volume control is a bit of a pain as you don't press it as
opposed to pushing it up and down and finger nails are very useful
particularly when using the button to navigate through menus ETC.

A couple of Downsides are that:
* The qwerty keyboard is relatively stiff to slide out so you have to
be a bit careful when doing this on the move that the phone doesn't fall
out of your hands;
* Once the keyboard is out and being used, I find that you have to be
a bit careful where you put your hands otherwise they can cover part of the
speaker so I find I need to turn the volume up particularly when I'm in a
public place such as a bar or restaurant or on a train.
* The main downside I have is that the Dialer doesn't speak when
in a call and it's quite difficult to locate - say you need to press a
number whilst on a call to select a department ETC.

However, Taking all this into account, I do like the phone a lot and hope
that the update of Talks will contain some of these fixes.

Hope this is of some use but please ask if you require any further info.

 Hi David.

Yes, I have the Nokia E7 sitting next to me here.

It works pretty well with Talks Although, I won't mislead you and say that
there are some features I do find more difficult to carry out than I did on
say my N86.

Anyone have the Nokia E7? If so how well does it work with Talks?

As far as I can tell the C5 only has one speker but not 100% certain being
the speaker is someware on the lower back of the phone.

Does the C5 have two external speakers? Or what
about the C5-3. I really like my e73, but the E
phones only have one speaker on the back and if
it's laying down or in my pocket or purse
sometimes the darn thing is hard to hear.
