Are your contacts in the address book more than once? Also did you turn on 
the "say name" function in your active profile? If you did how did you exit 
the settings?

Yes you can do that in the active profile that you are using! Just turn on
SayName and as long as the name is in your contact list, the phone will say
it while the phone is ringing. This has nothing to do with Talks. It is a
phone function.
