No the Internet Radio has always worked without head phones. The FM Radio or
the Visial Radio or the item just called Radio requires head phones to be
plugged in. If you noticed, the last three items didn't say Internet in
front of them. So if it says Internet Radio, then you do not need head
Phones. Only if it doesn't have Internet in front of it and it says Radio!
Then you will need some type of headset or head phones or a AD-54/AD-43
adaptor or some other type of connect for the phone to use that as a Intena.

Hello,

I am not trying to start a food fight. However, do different Nokia models work differently regarding "internet radio" because on my e66 I can use the program without headphones. I am currently listening to my last played station (WSUI) which is a public radio station. To be clear a am not speaking about Mundu Radio that has always worked without headphones.

Hi Stephen,
Thanks so much for this. Yes, it's the Nokia Internet Radio I wanted or
say listening to something on youtube.
So, please forgive me for seeming a bit stupid here but how do I get to
Internet Radio.
When I log onto Last FM which is what my friend is using the N86 won't play
the music I've selected.

The phone does however play my own music.

Thanks again.

I think you are talking about two different things. It sounds like you are
wanting to use the radio in that case, you need to have a headset plugged
into the phone. If you are wanting to listen to music that you have loaded
on the phone, then you do not need a headset plugged into the phone. The
same goes for listening to things over the internet using the Nokia internet
radio program. Note. The Nokia internet radio is not the same thing as the
FM radio. They are two different programs on your n86. You will need Talks
5.20.3 in order to use the Nokia internet radio program and have most items
read to you. That is what it sounds like your friend is using.

Hi All,
Please forgive me if this isn't totally Talks related but I have a query and
wonder if someone can enlighten me.

I have a colleague who uses a music channel on his mobile phone which is
relatively old. However, The music will play happily through his phone
which bye the way is a Nokia.
However, when I try to access music or speech on my Nokia N86, it won't
play without headphones being attached. So, is this a Phone problem or
Talks Related.
Can anyone throw some light on this please.

Thanks.
