Dear list You may remember my nervousness about attempting to install PC suite on my Netbook given the problems with my desktop install. I groaned when, on my netbook, the first attempt to install fell over and crashed half way through. Which is exactly what happened on my desktop. Repeated attempts at installing only repeated the crash and error reports.
I thought I was in for major hassle again but I suddenly had an idea. I exited Jaws 11 and instead started NVDA. This time Nokia PC Suite installed without any complaints. More than that, it instantly recognised my N86, without any of the device not recognised problems I had on my desktop Pc. So if you have problems installing PC Suite with Jaws you could try exiting Jaws and using NVDA. It may save a lot of hassle.
