Hello,

I got an alert today for my Nokia E73 mode when I opened my e-mail inbox. It said that there was an update for my e-mail application. I think it said it was optional. I thought it couldn't hurt, so I downloaded it and installed it. it installed successfully and said that the phone needed to be restarted for the changes to take affect. I restarted the phone and went back into my inbox. Everything seemed fine. I read through the subjects of the messages and hit select on one from a friend I wanted to read. It opened like normal and then... nothing! I couldn't get it to read the body of the message at all! I tried another mesage, thinking that maybe there was a problem with the one I'd just opened, but nope, every message I opened I had the same problem. So, what do I do now? I don't know how to get this update off my phone. I looked in my installed programs, thinking that it would be as simple as just removing the specific update. My only choices were to uninstall something called E-mail updater helper, or to uninstall the e-mail application itself. I'd be willing to uninstall the e-mail application, providing I could be sure to reinstall one that will work again. I know there's a way to change cursers with Talks, and I thought this might help, but I can't remember how to do it. I really, really do not want to have to hard reset my phone! Thanks for any help you can provide and those of you with E 73 Modes and newer phones, stay away from newly released e-mail application updates!
Dawnielle

He
Hi!
I can only charge my n86 via usb.
Or do you mean by connecting it to the computer and charge it that way?

Hello all.
I wish to recommend two ways of saving your battery power.
1. Instead of charging your phone via mains, charge it via USB, where
possible. It will do your phone's battery a world of good, since USB
draws a lot less power than mains, 500 miliamps and 13 amps
respectively. Also, enable power saving mode on your phone. This sets
your phone to use the battery's optimum life.
2. Look in your phone's application manager. If you see anything
unusual, go ahead and remove it. The absolute minimum you should have
on your phone are Talks, Talks Core and your chosen synthesizer, mine
being Eloquence. I discovered the hard way that the more apps I have
on my phone, the more it can drain the battery, depending on the app
of course.
Hope these help.
Take care.

You should be able to connect to the computer and charge it that way as well
as mains power charging. You will use your micro usb to connect to the
phone and your usb attachment when charging from the computer.

I seem to recall reading on this list some time ago that there was a program
for Symbian phones that would play ogg files. Could anyone tell me what it
is and where I can get it please?

Cheers

Alex
