Sorry. I'm obviously not a moderator. I was just trying to point out the hypocrisy of this post, i.e. someone posting to a thread that's already been shut downand talking about how glad they are that it's already been shut down. I can forgive people who just don't realize it's off topic, but for people who know it's off topic, complain about off topic posts and then post anyway ....
BTW, I don't agree with the sentiment on the moderators. IMHO, moderators have a tough job, and since I'm not willing to moderate my own list, I just defer to those who are willing to moderate such lists. They aren't going to be perfect, and I don't always agree with them, but it's a lot easier to criticize them than it is to do their job. IMHO, I don't pay much attention to who posts what, so I'm not sure what Saqid has contributed to the list, but my general opinion is that anyone who announces they're leaving a list generally won't be missed.
