Eleanor, he is not using the build-in email client which found same location with the sms inbox, he is using another client which is call nokia messaging service and found in menu / applications / email. this nokia messaging service will connect through https://email.nokia.com.
the different between this 2 is: 1. the default email client under messaging will be connect directly into the inbox via IMAP and check email directly from the original account. 2. the nokia messaging service found under applications / email will connect to nokia server at https://email.nokia.com and this server will pull emails from your gmail account into the nokia server and download into your phone. for example, you have 1 gmail account and 1 yahoo account and both account has been setup in the nokia email server, the server will pull emails from the 2 accounts and group it in the nokia email server and finally will download into your phone. i hope you can understand to my explanation above. sorry for my english. -- Allan (WKF) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorbu...@btinternet.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 15, 2011 00:16 Subject: Re: [Talks] problem sending email I wonder if your outgoing settings are as mine are: Mine are as follows on my C5.
