Hi Bhavesh

Ok thanks for this, it is useful to know. I can't seem to
get it to work in any case even though I have downloaded the
software to my phone.

hi,

i'll not encourage you to upgrade your c5's firmware, cause
i've gone thrue a very bad experience. not once, but twise.
once you upgrade firmware, it will affect your phone's sound
quality, and thus talks's voice will become lesser.

bhavesh.

I can't work out how to install it if I can. Someone told me

before I purchased the phone that because I am in France and

because I have purchased a phone sold in the UK I will never

be able to up-grade the firmware, I don't know how true this

is. Please put me right.

Steven:

I downloaded the zip file from blindsea.com. I installed

the latest version

of Talks on my N86 on Saturday. This evening, I installed

the new version

of Daisy 2 Go, replacing the old version of the software.

Luckily for me, I

had no problems with the installation process and the new

version of Daisy 2

Go and Talks are now installed on my phone.

Just wondering did you remove the old D2GO file first and

then try

installing the new one? That is the only thing I can think

of being I didn't

have D2GO on my N95 first.

Steven,

Same problem as Eleanor and with a N95. I used the file in

the Blindsee zip

package.

However I had already installed Talks 5.20 from the earlier

posted ftp site.

Is there any possibility that the signing needs to be the

same to make

Daisy2Go work? Does it need to be installed to the Talks

package that it

came with?

Try downloading the ZIP file from the blind sea web site and

it should have

the latest files for Talks and maybe that D2Go file will

work. At least it

worked on my N95. Remember the Talks zip is under the Mobile

Screen reader

link.

Ok. I've tried to install D2Go on every phone I

have which are phones from 9.1 through version 5.

It doesn't work. It just says cert error, contact

the application creator or something to that

effect. If anyone gets it to install please reveal your

secret.
