well, the latest firmware for C5 did make some volume loudness but as
comapred to my previous phone like N73, level 1 for talks is like volume 3
for C5.
due to the design of the phone itself, the speaker is at the bottom back.
6700 slide, it does have a higher volume as compared to C5 but the only
problems or a few issue I see is, it does not have WIFI support like C5 and
it does not have free navigation from Ovi Map.

They have a newer version of the Symbian operating system. Talks does work
on both of them. One thing to note, the C5 external speaker is much lower
then what is on your N95-8GB* model. So if you run Talks at lets say
volume 5 (default) on the N95-8GB* model! This would be like running the
C5 at volume 9 or so with Talks with the latest firmware for the C5. I can
not say how the 6700 slide is as far as speaker volume compared to the
N95-8GB* model being I do not own one of them.
