Hi Steven,

Of course we don't know whom the rumour came from and what their position
is, but I have to agree at least slightly with the sentiment. It's nothing
to do with who is or is not working on the project, but you have to admit
there is a large body of people out there whom, quite right, say that Talks
is lagging behind the competition when it comes to support for new phone.
This is fact, no matter how avidly you support Talks out of personal loyalty
or anything else.

Yes, Talks has areas in which it soundly betas the competition, but for the
Joe Bloggs who wants to buy a new phone release, Talks is certainly not the
first access product that will spring to mind. Look at the N8 for example.
Need I say more?

So it goes both ways. Personally I'm now seriously considering switching
access product as I feel the limitations of Talks platform support will be a
hold back for me in the future, even if it is the best product for my
current device now.
