Talks is still being worked on. It hasn't been discontinued at all. So hoom
ever you herd that from probably is a strong supporter of a conpetitor
product who probably doesn't know anything at all. Yes Nuance had a death of
one of the initial people who designed Talks! Howevber the programmer is
still going and the product is still being worked on. After all, they put
out a release in September or there abouts.

Hardware eventually fails, software eventually works.
No amount of bandwidth can fix poor design.

Subject: [Talks] Rumors, Rumors, We Got Rumors
Talks List:
Well, down here in North Carolina, the rumor is out there that Talks is at
the end. When folks hear that I have it, they say "ain't Talks dead or
getting close?" When I ask them where they heard that, they all get very
vague. The only thing I can figure is that they heard that the original
Talks author died so they figure it is gonna die, more or less, with him.
What I have heard on this list is that there is very little chance that it
will end.
Now, has anyone heard anything else or does anyone else know anything
else?
Gary Ray
