Why would you want to do a hard reset if you have a bootable phone to start with. Just doing a *#7370# and following the prompts will do the same thing.

P.s. The hard reset is different on pphones with a keyboard anyway. So what you have will not work even on phones with a standard keypad being you do not have all the keys.
