Hello Ketan, I have been using OVI maps for some time. Here is what the initial problem is.
On my Nokia N86, I have a total of 10 unspoken icons on the opening screen. These are not labelled, and neither are they spoken. It is helpful to have your key beeps turned on if they are not. As Kit mentioned, please get sighted assistance in describing the following: 1 When you open maps, where is the cursor or highlight parked at. Example, is it parked at row 2 and icon 1? So here is what you need from a sighted person. 2 How many rows are there 3 How many icons per row are there 4 Open up a file on your PC, and right a description for each icon making sure to pay close attention to row 1 icon 1, row 1 icon 2, row 1 icon 3 etc. 5 In other words, write a diagram of where is where. 6 Usually when you open maps, the highlight is parked on Driving. Arrowing one time to the right would put you on walk or pedestrian. Ketan, the reason why I cannot help you is that the arrangement of these icons will undoubtedly be different on your E72 than on my N86. Get some help, and start enjoying the maps.. Also once there it is completely quiet although I wait a long time. I tried to move cursor and somewhere I got set destination and then nothing that spoke. I would like to know exactly what areas are accessible. Please someone help as I vchanged my phone after reading the comments on blindsea website. Please do help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kit" <goldeneagl...@gmail.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Monday, November 01, 2010 6:41 AM Subject: Re: [Talks] E72 and OVI maps > Hi Ketan, > > Sorry, the answer is no from me.
