The problem you get into when you do that, is when you go into the profiles to assign a ring tone it will not work. So if you put all of your ring tones along with Talks on the phone memory then remove the memory card when assigning or changing ring tones. Then you will not have any issues. The problem comes in. Where people forget to remove the memory card when they have a lot of music on it and then they wonder why they can't assign ring tones. This problem can happen with the 4gb cards as well.

Just make sure you do not load the thing up with music files or you can get into issues. Produced on a Nokia N95 smart phone using a Symbian based screen reader. I was able to use an 8 gig card but there was a strange error. Now when you use profiles to set ring and other tones it would work ok. However if you went to personalize and opened the tones setting then opened ring tone or video call tone your only choices were off or download more tones and sometimes you could see the one currently being used. As I could set the tones in profiles this behaviour when and 8 gig card was used was noth worth worrying about. I don't know how an n95 would handle a larger card. Nokia were no longer producing that handset when 16 gig cards came out. I used to have 2 8 gig cards when I owned my n95 with the same programs on both cards one of which I used for books the other for music.
