Hello Mathew,

You're missing one important feature here. When you connect your newly
acquired Nokia N86 to your computer, your computer will want to do several
things.

1 Your computer will attempt to charge your phone
2 Since your phone has mass storage on it, it will treat it like a USB
drive. Navigate to My Computer if Windows XP, or Computer if Windows 7, and
here is where you can do some of your file management.

I have never used a file manager other than a third party software called
Y-Browser.

Congratulations on your newly acquired phone. Best regards.

 Edward

Subject: [Talks] N86 Questions and Problems

Hi, Folks! I just got an N86 and installed the MicroSD card. However, I
have some questions.

1. Where is the File Manager on this phone? I had an N85 that had it, but
can't seem to find it here. If there isn't such an animal here can I get
one from Nokia to install on my phone?

2. I want to transfer my pictures and videos from the Mass Memory to the
memory card. but again no file manager. And also, I can't find the card
even though it's there in terms of where I can save.

3. Since it's not a Nokia card, do I need to format it, and if so, how do I
do that?

4. When I go into Photos, I can't read the filenames of my pictures, but
can read the video filenames. Please help. Thanks in advance.--Matthew
