Hello Mathew, The Nokia N86 takes a Micro SD card. In order to insert the memory card, the entire back of the phone has to come off. The slot for the Micro SD card is on the same side of the phone as the spring loaded lock/unlock lever. The actual slot is near the camera lense, but on the side as I mentioned.
