That is correct, If you read the release note; You will find in the release note that Talks will not read HELP screen on Symbian 9.3 phones and above.

My suggestions to you is to
1. Make sure that you have the latest firmware on your phone.
2. Make sure that you are running Eloquence 6.1.123 if that is what you are using.
3. Make sure that you are using Talks 5.01.1 and not Talks 5.00.3.
4. Maybe change your standby theme to basic or standard from the befault that Vodafone has it set to.

My friend has the same problems with her e52 and Talks. She kept taking it back to Vodafone. I think they updated the firmware. She has not complained in the last week though she has had the phone for at least 8 weeks and has had to take it back about 3 times. Sorry not to be more helpful. With regard to your Help screens, Talks does not read Help screens on other phones so it may be that Talks is not able to read those.

Hi,

Does TALKS work satisfactorily on the Nokia E52? Are there any special
requirements that people know about for versions of Talks or versions of
firmware, etc.?

I have experienced the following four problems with the e52 with talks from
Vodafone:

1. the phone regularly hangs requiring the battery to be removed to restart
the phone. This happens about twice a day in normal use.

2. talks occasionally stops talking and appears to hang although the phone
continues to function. Powering the phone on and off fixes this problem
which happens every second or third day.

3. I get an "out of memory" message even if only Talks and messaging is
running. Switching the phone off and on again fixes this.

4. Talks seems to be unable to read any help screen.
