Hello Brian, I believe that Stephen answered your question, and perhaps, you didn't notice. Nevertheless, a slider phone is a phone that tucks away the keyboard under neath the screen. To reveal the keyboard, one must slide the screen upward to reveal a keyboard. Some phones can tuck away a numeric keypad, or even a full qwerty keyboard, or both. In both instances, the screen must be slid open to reveal a keyboard. These phones are either referred to as sliders, or a phone with a sliding screen. A flip phone is completely different in concept, and it too covers the keyboard.
