are you selecting from the list that comes up when you plug in the speakers or what ever. Until you select headset or earphones or line out the sound is not switched over until you make your selection.

Subject: [Talks] N86,internal speakers do not turn off when I plug in external sounddevice

As the subject says, when I plug in earphones or a set of external speakers
into the 3.5MM jack, the audio does not switch to the sound device.

Any suggestions on how to correct this problem.

Thanks in anticipation.

Sincerely:

Dave Durber
