Dave first make sure that your phone is unlock so that you hear any messages from it. Now plug in the speakers and or head phones. Select the connection type on the phone from the screen that should have came up when you plug in the device. This is for the reason of having the phone unlock to start with so that you get the message asking what is connected. After you select a option and press select on the phone, then the audio should switch to the device.

Any suggestions on how to correct this problem. Thanks in anticipation.
