Dave first make sure that your phone is unlock so that you hear any messages
from it. Now plug in the speakers and or head phones. Select the connection
type on the phone from the screen that should have came up when you plug in the
device. This is for the reason of having the phone unlock to start with so that
you get the message asking what is connected. After you select a option and
press select on the phone, then the audio should switch to the device.

Subject: [Talks] N86, internal speakers do not turn off when I plug in
external sound device
From: "Dave Durber" <d.dur...@gmail.com>

As the subject says, when I plug in earphones or a set of external speakers
into the 3.5MM jack, the audio does not switch to the sound device.

Any suggestions on how to correct this problem.

Thanks in anticipation.

Sincerely:

Dave Durber
